Proverbs 3: 5-6

What comes to mind when I think about what God has been teaching me lately is patience and trust.

I think this is a rough season for many of us facing internships, graduation, graduate school, or even just summer coming up in the very near future. If you are like me and are a control freak about your future and life this is a particularly uneasy time and it is very easy to listen to lies about what the future holds or doesn’t hold.

But, in reality though by putting your faith and trust in the Lord he will show you the way, it may be different than what we would expect or want but God ALWAYS knows what’s best for us. A well-known verse Proverbs 3:5-6 comes to mind: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.”

One last thing: know that there are a lot of people dealing with the same anxiety and confusion about what the future holds- heck I am too- but once you allow God to guide you, doors will start to be opened (and some closed) but just know God is in control and everything will be alright!

If any of this resonated with you take some time and listen to this song and allow God to take your fears away and for you to put your trust and HOPE in Him, the creature of the universe.
